Seattle meetup. August 2006.

Seattle folks - let's meet up Thursday 8/31! Eamondaly's in town for Bumbershoot and he's staying downtown. I'd like to take recommendations for bars downtown that would be good for a group - doesn't a MeFite work at a bar in Belltown somewhere?

Darn, I'm getting into town late Thursday evening (meeting the bf's folks in Tacoma for the first time), then we're off to Packwood on Friday or Saturday. Sorry I'll miss you all... maybe next time (assuming the bf's parents like me)!

Elysian has always been great but I don't want to have to explain the buses to Eamon, so somewhere he can walk to is easier. The Rendezvous sounds good.

I work a couple blocks from the Rendezvous, it would be an excellent bar for this sort of thing. What time did you have in mind?

Rossination, we'll take other suggestions if you've got any. Plus, I've never seen anyone get kicked out of a pub for being underage. They'll just card you and bring you a soft drink.

Yeah, the Rendezvous is a restaurant as well. I think you're allowed there until 10pm.

Sadly, I am trapped in job transistion land. I will be in Seaddled 9/11-9/12 for a medical appointment. Might be available 9/11 eve for a disaster party.

Photos here. It was a small group (y2karl was there but not pictured), and we had a great time, although we left too early for Eamon's taste because we're all lameasses who had to go to work in the morning.
