The Location: Penn Avenue at Graham St. in the Garfield/Bloomfield/Friendship/East Liberty neighborhood.

The Fare: Coffees, teas, milkshakes that will rock your socks and yummy vegetarian/vegan food.

The Day: The first anniversary of Katrina's landfall in New Orleans.

The Associated Good Deed: 50% of the restaurant's dinner proceeds will be donated to Share Our Strength in order to help aid Gulf Coast rebuilding efforts.

Hope to see a few of you there. You can look for me, I'm going to try to arrive by 6:30.

I'm probably going to be in band practice (practicing for our Quiet Storm gig on the 9th, no less). But I'll definitely drop by if we finish early.

As it turns out, I'm probably not going to be able to make it either. (I was supposed to be there ten minutes ago.) Cranky, allergy-suffering children are taking precendence tonight. Sorry folks.
