Portland meetup? It is Rocktober after all...
jessamyn will be in portland at the end of the month, so we should do something then. I think it's the 28th or so.

If anyone, anyone, could pick me up in Olympia on their way to Portland, I would be oh so eternally grateful.

I'm in town for a blah blah library thing and I think the 28th would be totally perfect. Anyone?

Why is it that damn near every time there's a meetup in Portland I have plans?
The 28th is out for me, pretty much the whole rest of the month is good.

So, the initial proposal:
- Saturday, October 28th (aka Dawn Of The Jessamyn)
- Rose and Raindrop (which accomodated us well enough last time, and is conveniently near other places)
- 3ish? It's a Saturday, so we ought to be able to start earlier than evening-time...
- togdon is a loser

Does the Pope shit in the woods?
Because if he does then you could take advantage of that isolated moment of distraction and vulnerability to steal his mitre, and wear that to the meetup, and then there would be hats.

I ♥ Cortex.
If it's really early enough in the day (3pm qualifies) I'd love to sneak a pint in before my plans.
I love the idea of hats.
That's a lot of love folks...

For what it's worth, the Rose & Raindrop will be closing at the end of this year. Not that that affects these plans or anything. I'm just sayin'...
Also, I will bring party hats, but I refuse to wear one.
'cause that's how I roll.

Oh man I cannot believe it's going to close! I worked there back when it was Digger O'Dells, lots of oysters and roaches. I'm running out of new guys to bring with me though, I'll have to start recyclng. Oh and hats. Hats rule.

I'll have the boys talk with her. They're very, how do you say, persuasive.

Oh man, messowie?! If I wasn't closing on a new house that week (yay! first home!) I'd be up for a road trip. The timing, it does suck.

CD, JanetLand, I live like three hours from you guys. Post-November, let's do an all-New-England (or maybe Northern New England) shindig.

I get way too drunk with you people, so I'm in. I'll bring my bad attitude and lack of party hats.

I will try to make it, too. This would be my first mefi meetup. But I might be moving that weekend, in which case I won't try very hard.
