If any of you MeFites / party monsters would like to come see one of your own spin on the wheels of steel, I'll be "playing out" for the first time at Pi-Rem in downtown NW PDX.

This is both an opportunity for some of my fellow students of Spun DJ Academy and myself to showcase our mixing talents as well as a venture in promoting a club night event.

This is a hybrid art gallery-lounge and I'm pretty sure it's no smoking. No cover there but it is 21+. Please e-mail if you have any further questions and thanks for your support virtually or physically; I hope to see y'all there!

I assume it starts kinda late in the evening? We could make it an official meetup at Slabtown or something and then head over there.

Sorry about that; it is later, and we'll be starting at 9:00pm.

As far as I know everything will be in order for this gig, but I didn't realize that it was shut down presently. Not good!

(I'll keep an eye on their website and also find out what's going with this temporary closure).

The west side ... shudder. I try to avoid those bridges whenever possible. But I will try to be there. By which I mean, I will not write it down, but I will attend if I miraculously remember. Otherwise, have fun.

An update to this posting:

Pi-Rem worked things out with City of Portland. Everything is up and running at their lounge and the show will go on!

I'll be closing out the event so I think I'm going some time between 1:15 and 1:30.
