Anyone else using mefi projects? December 13, 2006 3:14 PM   Subscribe

Are rajbot, fishfucker and myself the only MeFites to look at Projects lately, or does everybody else here think everything posted there since 12/7 sucks? Just asking.

Was that a cricket I stepped on the last time I went to Projects?

Jiminy.

But I really like IRFH's blog and feel he/she/they should be encouraged to continue!

And I always end well.

Personally, I always forget to look at Projects. Thanks for the reminder!

Did someone say wendell?

Also: Nobody goes there any more, it's too crowded.

Usually people space their Projects out, so they don't get lost in the clutter. Why were 8 posted yesterday? Bizarre.

I don't ever look at it. I don't know why.

Frankly, none of the stuff in the last few days looks super-amazing.

Don't posts to Projects have to be approved? I just assumed Matt and Jessamyn only tackled the queue once or twice a week, and that's why they always showed in my feed in a group.

And yes, there's been some lameness. Don't dis your t-shirt competition if your own design is lame. I rarely want to snark on here, but I wanted to when I saw that shirt.

Maybe there should be a [snark] link under the [vote for it] link.

I forgot to approve them for a few days and jessamyn stepped up to approve a bunch.

Projects is perfect for RSS. That's the only way I read the site, but I find unless something is amazing, I don't take the trip over to vote for something when I know I should.

I refuse to vote for any more projects until my MeFiComp CD arrives. *Shakes fist at Canada Post*

Also, there hasn't been a lot that's gotten me stiff in the nipples lately. No harm, no foul, just the way it goes.

Ah, so that explains why you're opening Projects up to friends and family stuff. :)

I looked at it yesterday for the first time in a week or two, and voted on a couple. Hooray for me!

I look at Projects maybe once every 1-2 weeks. With a) a low volume of posts, and b) no discussion to keep up with, that's about all that seems necessary.

I quit looking when the "girlgator" went away. T'was a sad day.

Hmmm. Being Canadian, I read this as "since July 12" instead of since "December 12". I started patting myself on the back, since I posted my project in June and was thus part of the non-sucks club. But then I realized you weren't using metric dates.
