Someone else is muscling in on ask's turf. Worse, they've got green, blue and gray all on one page. We're doooooomed.

I wouldn't panic just yet.

It's Web 2.0 conforming, I see. Ugh.

Look and feel cobbled together, Burroughs cut-up style, from a dozen neglected default WordPress installs.

Which web 2.0 style manual calls for tiny, grey, hard-to-read text, anyway?

That's actually web 0.2, I think.

The domain has been up since Sept. 2004. Looks like the product of one individual.

Also.

Now get back to work, or something.

Ack, I meant ALSO!

"What should I say?" also happens to be a somewhat silly name. What if you're asking about masturbation techniques, or how to trim your dog, or some such? Those aren't things you'd need to "say" anything about; just simple questions.
posted by koeselitz at 9:20 AM on February 20, 2007

Koeslitz, I think the scope of that site is exclusively limited to questions concerning the title of the site.
posted by Burhanistan at 9:23 AM on February 20, 2007

Ah, yes. First question that loaded for me was something like, "What should I do when my girlfriend and I get in an argument?" and the answer was, "Hit her."

Me too.

Uhg, it's got the threaded system like /. only worse (people can comment on answers- viewing them brings you to another page altogether. I hate message forums like that).

"Help me whatshouldisay? HiveMind!
Recently I've found that grinding my ass into a male will get them aroused. However, something else odd has been occurring. When this grinding takes place, a bone like object attempts to penetrate me. When I went to take a closer look with my tongue I found that there certainly was [more inside]"

Just doesn't seem to have the same ring to it, ay?

Here is another AskMe ripoff.

If it gets people answers they want, I'm all for it. The internet is more than big enough for more than one successful Q&A site, one would have thought.

While I personally think "Web 2.0" is a collosal joke, I think in this instance the idea of allowing people to comment on answers in a tree view that distinguishes them from the answers themselves is actually a pretty good idea.
Those not interested in the noise of the comments on answers can easily skim past them, but they are still readily viewable for those interested.

Agreed, I'm not sure why there's a zero-sum obsession over Q&A sites. It's not like AskMe is hurting for questions...

There's also some bad synergy going on.

Huh. Didn't see those at all. There really are two classes of web users, those with Firefox/Adblocker and those without.

Some of us just really enjoy the random juxtapositions that filterless surfing provide. Fortuity before cleanliness! Serendipity, not sterility!

Ohmagawd! I have been favourited 100 times! Not that I'm counting or anything. Of course not.

I'd like to thank the academy...

liquorice, I beat you even though you had four months head start. Not that I click on profiles or anything.

I misread that as "Irritation is the highest form of flattery," which didn't make much sense. Glad to see that wasn't what you were saying.

If it was - Vagisil?

What should I say looks like an even more juvenile version of Answerbag; I can't see MeFi's popularity waning as a result.
