MeFi looks like crap anywhere on account of lack of a white background and all the badly beaten dead horses strewn about like some freshly discovered surreptitious deep-woods porn stash.

Too bad metafilter.mobi is a link farm. Not that we'd need it. metatalk.mobi is much more critical and -yes indeedy- available.

Sometimes the "skip to main content" link on the top of pages on the mobile version cancels the page load. It could be my now ancient blackberry 7250, though.

Apparently you should avoid Opera mini or else you'll create more work for mathowie.

He wrote one concerning weed? Where!? Normally I don't have the attention span for anything with paragraphs, but I'll make an exception.

It looks OK on my Nokia 6265i. If it weren't for the shitty, shitty, unforgivably shitty data plans available in my neck of the woods, I might even use my phone to browse.

I checked MeFi out on the DS Browser the other day. It looked OK, I guess. Loaded quicker than I thought it would, too.

Re: Opera Mini. I've got a friend who works at Opera and I told him last summer that there had been some complaints regarding reading MetaFilter on Opera Mini. Apparently he submitted my mail (and a few MetaTalk threads) to QA and they recently looked into it.
More than this, I do not know. But I could probably pass along a few mails if somebody wants somehing MetaFilter on Opera Mini-related answered.

I used to receive the paper version, but then I got four issues in a row about JRun, so I dropped my subscription.

MeFi on the PSP looks damn fine. I like to browse while I'm waiting on the public transit, and pulling out my laptop makes me feel like such a geek.
Like busting out a psp at a bus stop makes a thirty-eight year old guy look any cooler.
