Cookie problems on Mefi April 22, 2007 9:09 AM   Subscribe

I'm getting a server error when I hit any of the *.mefi sites that looks like it's related to cookie processing. Here's the relevant error message: Element USER_PASS is undefined in COOKIE.

Problem doesn't show up in IE. I realize that dumping cookies will likely solve the problem, but I thought I'd report the problem in case anyone else is seeing it.

I saw that problem yesterday when I installed Metafilthy into Firefox.

Clearing out my old Metafilter cookie fixed it.

Deleting the Metafilter cookie from your browser cache should fix the problem. You'll have to log in again afterwards, of course.

Not logging back in will probably fix it just as effetively.
