Login link placement December 2, 2001 8:08 AM   Subscribe

I share my computer and have to login and out of MeFi a lot. Would it be too much to ask to have a login link at the top of the opening page instead of just the bottom?

there's one a the top for me... are you browsing text-only or something? (even so, I don't see how that would matter.)

I share corpse's computer and what I would really like is some new computer thing that comes boxed with wieght sensors that can be inserted into the seat cushion of this chair and automatically log whichever of us sits down into all the sites we habitually visit. And switches users on the Palm Desktop software.

And make all file browsers point to my documents. And turn the heat up a couple of degrees. And start water for tea.

well, why dont you guys just start using the multiple users functionality thats built into your operating system?

then you only have to login once (to the machine itself) and all of your settings and cookies will be right where you left them....
