Is there any chance we can add BPD to "the list" alongside cat declawing and circumcision? [more inside]

We get some great content about Borderline Personality Disorder, but every time it happens, someone will bring up how terrible people with BPD are. Someone will explain how they are emotional vampires, or how they destroy people's lives by suffocating them or making them walk on eggshells the whole time. Ironically, these are often the same people who say that people with BPD aren't bastards, but genuinely ill with physical reasons for these problems..

We have people with BPD here. These people read these threads every time they come up and see every one of us jumping on them and telling them they are worthless.

I know some people here have been driven away by people with BPD, but you knew and loved those people. Can we have some thought for those of us who still do know and love ours?

Do you have any specific examples of this you'd like to cite?

I just sidebarred a really good comment in that thread. Are there specific comments there that you're referring to? It seemed to be going decently to me at first glance.

I think it's MEAN to circumcise cats with BPD, but it's not as bad as declawing quonsar.

Actually, this thread is being discussed two posts down, can we move this there?
