Goodbye, DaShiv

He's not even here in NYC yet, and we're already planning his gooodbye party- come to DaShiv's Goodbye Dinner on September 26th.

Where: Arunee Thai Cuisine in Astoria (best reached by taking the M60 Bus to Steinway Street, or the N/W Train to Astoria Blvd). The food is quite delicious, and reasonably priced.
When: Wednesday September 26th, at 8:00 p.m.
Why: Because not everyone is going to be around for the "big" meetup the weekend before, and this will be a nice intimate goodbye for DaShiv.

I saw the title to this post in my RSS reader and knew DaShiv wasn't in NYC yet and thought he'd died. Happy to hear that is not the case.

September 26 is the Harvest Moon this year, so if it's a clear night and if any moonlight can reach the street in NYC maybe you can get him to do moonlight portraits.

I can't get over the fact that I couldn't make it even though it was in walking distance. When is there ever a meetup in walking distance? Grumble bitch moan. Anyway, I'm sure y'all had fun anyway, and I'm looking forward to the photos.

I gave him some water and a crumb donut, and he managed to survive without vomiting. Or if he did vomit, he managed to do it without leaving any mess behind for me to clean up. Either way, I am thankful.
