Will this be at the Map Room? ;-)

One would certainly hope.

It's always the Maproom with you people!

I once had a blind date with a guy who turned out to be on percoset and very disappointed that I wasn't really older, like in my 50's, as opposed to a couple years older than he is, like in my 30's. I don't hold it against the Maproom, however. But the marginally amusing nature of the story just does not make up for the lost hour of my life

The obvious solution is to exorcise those evil spirits by being saucy and incorrigible.

In the Map Room. For the Map Festival.

I am a total map nerd - many maps on my walls, many maps in my car. I would love to go to the Map Room, but I also plan to go to the Historical Society to see this exhibit.

Ooo, I didn't mean to foist the Map Room on this — I've never been there — I was making a funny. Har har. :)

Anyway, I'm interested in the Fest o' Maps.

OK, I didn't know this Festival existed. It really is spread out all over the place (location- and time-wise), isn't it?

I'm not a map geek (I'm in my atlas, lovin' my maps, though I wouldn't qualify as a map geek I'm sure) but I'm sure it would be fun to go to an exhibit or two one Saturday afternoon.

And then go to the Map Room for some brew.

as long as this doesn't turn into a loop-vs-non-loop-discussion-where-the-loop-wins, i think i'm in

I'm new to the area so I'll let others decide where to actually meet, but a place with a name like "The Map Room" has got to be good, blind dates notwithstanding.

The Onion lecture sounds like the most fun, but it's on a Monday night (6 - 7 pm), and I'm assuming that would be a difficult time for others to make (not for me, however). Correct me if I'm wrong.

Whew, I finally found this thread again! You are not wrong, desjardins. Weeknights 6-7 are tough for me.
