Is anyone up for a Bavarian meetup?
I doubt I'm the only MetaFilter member in Bavaria, so how about a meetup this winter? I'm in Nuremberg, but I'd be cool with taking the train down to Munich or elsewhere. As long as the Deutsche Bahn drivers don't go on strike again, of course.

Bavaria, I hope that you have some mefites in you and furthermore that you do not miss the chance to meet cmonkey. Life is just better when you know cmonkey.

Yeah, it's hard to congregate a mefi meetup outside of the anglosaxon hotspots.
You can use the Google Earth file of the mefi population to cast your net somewhat wider and mail people directly to get them to notice this metatalk thread.
I'll be drinking a Weihenstephaner in your honour.
