Central Illinois meetup @ Ebertfest?

I know there was some talk of a Central Illinois meetup a while back. It seems like the upcoming Ebertfest might be a good time to revisit the idea. The festival takes place from the 23-27th of this month. Discuss.

Yes yes yes. See, as you might realize from my comment in that thread, we here in CU realize the fucking deal with Roger is that he throws an awesome film festival.

Wow--where are all the central Illinoisans?

Ebertfest is always during a tricky time of the year, at the end of the semester. But I'd be up for a drink, sure.

Ahhh, MsMolly, I sure do miss Ebertfest, the Sweetcorn Festival, and I even miss you too. Where you gonna meetup? Jupiter's? The Office? The Blind Pig? The Esquire???

Heh. Brass Rail is probably least likely to be crowded with elderly Ebertfesters. I'm leaning towards the Blind Pig, though. (Oh, and my first reply up there was in response to a now-deleted comment, so it looks a little odd on its own.)

C'mon, fellow residents of the Corn Desert. Step up and be counted.

P.S. deejay jaydee Aw! I miss you and all the drinking GSLISers. It's just not the same here without y'all.
