One day we should have a good housecleaning of the US-centric tendencies of MeFi, the way the sexism got highlighted and thrashed out a while back.

Not true; I keep it in my basement. You know those times when you can't get online? It's because I had to unplug it so I could vacuum the floor. Sorry about that.
