I need email telling me a post I posted has been posted?

Why do I get an email telling me my AskMe post has been posted when I just posted it and saw it be posted and therefore possessed no doubt concerning its posting?

Your post to MetaTalk asking about email confirmation of AskMe posts has posted.

This is [sort of] being discussed one thread down. It's a new AskMe notification system. People sometimes go back to the main AskMe page and don't see their question and worry and email us. Also if a question gets deleted there's no way for the OP to find it again. There's a notification that comes out a month later asking AskMe posters to follow-up. I'll close this and we can chat about it in the open, thread, that okay?
