What's the bar-raising part? It's not as if double posts have never been noted politely, constructively, suppotively or humorously before. I think everyone's aware that there are better and worse ways to do this.

The bar-raising part is that it was quick, polite, and didn't make him feel stupid. I hadn't seen it before, and neither had someone else. I beleived it was noteworty.
