follow up to my previous post about shaving my head.
the thread is still open, but a few people had asked to see photos so i thought i would post to follow up.

Yay! I've always wanted to shave my head, but I've never had the right combination of opportunity and guts. I'm glad it was a good experience for you!

Makes me wistful for my own fuzzy-headed days. I don't think I ever got quite as short as yours - usually I used a trimmer set to 1/4". Fuzzy-wuzzy.

Oh, now I am just kicking myself that I didn't get a "supportive friends" photo like that one when my head was shaved! That looks so fun! (And the buzzed look totally works for you.)
Sigh. Were it not for my aforementioned issues with my mother, I would totally do it again.

well, i did it!
i was pretty relieved to discover that i don't have any lumps, dents, or marks.
Good for you. In my case, I didn't even know I had a small mole on the back of my head until I started shaving it. Despite my best efforts, I kept hitting it. I finally had it removed.

This is really good advice. When I used to shave my head regularly, I was always amazed at how just losing an inch of hair could make my head so cold.
At the very least, get in the habit of throwing one in your bag. Better to have it and not need it, etc.
More women should shave their heads, it's such a cool look.
