anyone in taipei?

i am, have been for the past 2 months. i'm having a great time but my mandarin is terrible and i don't know any english speakers. would love to hang out and drink and talk fast (not necessary, but sort of inevitable if i'm drinking).

In case the mefites of Taiwan don't read MetaTalk, why don't you change your location on your profile page and see who comes up as nearby users and get in touch with them directly?

It can be hard to connect with right social network in Taiwan, especially if you don't have language skills, but, depending on your circumstances, I might be able to share some advice.

Are you there on business or holiday?

my mandarin language skills are very very limited, i'm here on extended holiday staying w/my wife's family for 3 months.

I wish I'd thought of having a Taipei meetup last year. Would have made visiting the grandparents so much more bearable.
