on mefi, the page after entering your pwd is blank when using lynx (as far as i can tell, there's no html body at all), but you do get the cookies set correctly and posting then works. this is not a bug on meta.
on mefi (don't know about meta) with nn4.7 the preview page doesn't display the text to edit (although it is in the source) (and the back button takes you back to an empty submission form).
i realise these are rather obscure - i'm reduced to using a bunch of rather odd computers at the moment.

lynx?! I didn't even know it was still around. I saw pretty much the same symptoms you describe a while back using Netscape 4.7x. I wound up deleting all the cache files by hand and the problem went away and hasn't come back.
