Problem with Preview

Preview is badly broken, at least under IE 5.1 on Mac OS X. Details inside.

I can't tell exactly what's happening, but " characters around HTML element attributes in comments seem to be being replaced by " entities and this then seems to be wreaking havoc with the comment text.

I noticed it happens, but you can submit it, as is, and it works fine.

Ummm, Matt ... not always.

Look at the Hollingworth Center link in my post here. I had noted the problem in preview for two of the links in the post and fixed it, but didn't catch in the Hollingworth Center link. And I'm on a PC using Netscape.

In Netscape 4.7 you don't get the preview window at all, you see your comment, but no window, you have to use browser navigation to go back and make changes.

Isn't it wonderful that browsers get to be unique! Who needs those silly browser standards anyway?
