O'Reilly discussion betwen Steven Johnson, David Sims and Rael Dornfest touches upon MeFi.

Sims. A blog tribe.

Johnson. Yeah

Dornfest. Metafilter comes closest to that of the things I've seen. It still has a personality, but it's very much a group dynamic.

In the Greta Van Susteren thread that appeared a little while ago, I compared O'Reilly's saggy, unpleasant head to my scrotum.

God I hope he saw that.

There is more than one O'Reilly. Some of them are companies, not humans.

I've bought "Emergence" (Steven Johnson's book) but haven't started it yet. Anyone read it and have any thoughts?
