What happened to hermitosis?

I was shocked and horrified to discover that hermitosis' account is disabled. Did I miss something? Where do you go, my lovely? Where do you go? I wanna know.

hermitosis favorited Optimus Chyme's goodbye comment. Maybe hermitosis uses favorites to mean, "me too."

Hell, I'm still stunned about finding out that tkchrist disabled his account. Could people stop leaving? You folks are pretty much the reason, after years of lurking, that I signed up. There was (and still is, mind you) a fantastic community here, and you folks are why I'm here. Finding someone has left weeks, or months, after the fact just stings.

I heard some of why, but given the nature, I'm not sure I should post it here. Suffice to say, it's not anything any mefites did.

man, he's one of my favorite mefites. I hope he's doing alright.
