[SF meetup] All your friends out of town for Memorial Weekend? Not your virtual friends!

Hey everyone, per this thread, there are some Bay Area Mefites with time on their hands this weekend. Let's get together and do something fun. Maybe meet at the Ferry Building Farmer's Market for lunch and then meander as fancy strikes?

I'm free tomorrow, and I'll be over toward the ferry building tomorrow morning to make a stop at the lovely 94107 post office.

Sounds to me like more people can make Saturday than Sunday. Let's meet in front of the Ferry Building at noon. I'll be the blonde with the gold purse. Can't wait to meet you all!

Our weekend is actually pretty busy, but if anybody's into that kind of thing, on Sunday at noon, jaybeans and I will be picnicking in Golden Gate Park watching vintage baseball. It's Fremont Aces v. San Francisco Pacifics in proper 1880s style.

Me/mail us (gingerbeer and/or me) if you want to show up and throw food on our grill and/or eat some of same. Our weekend's kind of wacky, so we probably won't make the Ferry Building portion of things.

Hey, I'm totally at loose ends this weekend. Wish I were in SF. I swear NY and SF are the two areas in the US with the biggest concentration of my fave mefites are.

Yeah, I went with friends to the Ferry Building for lunch around noonish and then they ditched me for a show, and I remembered there was supposed to be a meetup - but damn that place is crowded. Another time!
