I'm looking for a train video.

It was posted to the blue a year or three ago. It was a long (12-13 minute) video of a valley with train tracks starting roughly in the upper left of the screen which curved down to just below the camera and went off screen to the right. A couple very long trains chug throughout the video, going both directions. I want to say it was in China, but that hasn't helped my searching at all.

Anyone remember this, and/or am I crazy?

Evilspork's description is nothing like the norwegian train video . . .

Not the video you're looking for, but it reminded me of the fantastic Casey Junior sequence from Dumbo.

I hadn't seen that one Burhanistan (which is great) but not the one I was looking for. Similar to the intro of the Casey Junior one, it was a fixed camera overlooking a wide area, not one attached to a train itself.

Was the video shot at night? I think I might remember this.

I'm pretty sure I remember it, too. There are - surprisingly - loads of similar videos on Youtube. Here's the closest I can find, at least to the one I remember. The related videos there might help. (If only I had my old IM logs!)

I love the Norwegian train video. Best 22 gigs I ever downloaded.

I think there was a post/comment at some point about there spiral train tunnels in Canada, but I can't find it. Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEe9d69NpyM

I posted already today so can't see if this link was posted before.

It's more similar to carter's post, except the trains were much smaller/further away and only appeared at the left and bottom sides of the video. The center and upper right area was some kind of huge valley. I'm 99% sure it was daytime.

The trains were also VERY long, hundreds of cars and easily a mile or two long.

Evilspork, I remember it too. Can't find it right now, but I do remember it. You're not going crazy.

This made me think of my favourite Father Ted moment.

Not likely, but this?

Not that, but, breathtaking.

For all you audiophiles.

Fits some description.

I feel like I've seen a video of the Horseshoe Curve that was like that, but I can't find it online.
