I get the same message. I'm at work, so I can't email Matt at the moment. Can someone else do so, if they verify a third person is getting the error?

Will somebody else just please:
1. verify that Metafilter is currently inaccessible to everybody in the world except for logged-on members, and, if so
2. e-mail Matt about this little problem?

Sorry, Matt. I had high hopes that at least one emailer would have come back to the thread to say "I emailed Matt about this."

Talking about mentions of mefi:
Community-friendly advertising by Derek Powazek talks about textads, Matt and Mefi. (via Microcontentnews). Its an interesting essay.
