Next time, can we discuss the FPP and not the via link?
Out of 13 comments in that thread, I count only 3 (including mine) that are even peripherally about the FPP. The rest are about Memepool. If Memepool returning from hiatus is so important, then maybe there should've been an FPP about it? Oh wait, there already was.

I'm guessing it'll settle down into proper indie gaming chatter, but I feel you, and, yeah, it's nice when threads don't swerve hard onto some tangent like that.
On the other hand, in terms of web property resurrections memepool being back (and more back than it apparently was when there was a post about it) is kind of like when you go to a restaurant and you order some toast and the waiter who took your order is totally swamped so the line cook brings your toast out to you and you're like "oh hey, thanks" but then you do a double take and you're all "wait, you're literally Jesus Christ." And your friends at the table are like "holy shit, Jesus motherfuckin' Christ, second coming, holy BALLS man", and then the toast ends up getting cold.

As someone who cares more about Terry Cavanagh and indie games than whether or not memepool's back,
...I knew about his free indie games site before I knew that memepool was back as anything other than a one off dare post. So that's my excuse.

It just happens, neckro; I did a FPP post once about something that the Tate museum in London was doing, but about 75% of all the comments were puns about "taters".
I just took it as a subtle sign that "maybe this thing I did an FPP about wasn't as interesting as I thought."
