If a real live ghost feels this way, what chance do the rest of us have? I suspect he is merely pixels.

Lil Friendys is my favorite thing to show people who deserve to be mildly irritated.

His Hamibal/Hannibal Season 3 re-caps(?) with puppets also got a lot of traction recently, even with the fan-conscious creators of the TV series.

Good on you, Greg Nog!

Greg once fried some chicken for likeatoaster, me and blisterlips at like 1:30 AM.

On my re-read of the article, I thought the second Tweet shown said, ""so what did you do before self-driving cars?"" which, considering his cats, was extra weird.

Once upon a time a friend of mine decided that for her 30th birthday she was going to visit multiple psychics over the course of a day to see if she could amass some consistent wisdom for her new decade. She didn't want to do this alone, so I went along for the ride. "Whatever!" I though, "they'll probably just warn against bad life choices and say totally different things."

Several hours later we'd visited some psychics and learned that they could not get their stories straight for my friend (except telling her someone named "J" would be important—reader, she later married a Jonah!), but they were all creepily consistent about me: I had been cursed. No, there was nothing I could do about it. Yes, it had been intentional, and it probably happened around 2001. I had been cursed with a malevolent male energy that could not be removed, and I should probably just learn to live with it. They offered to burn some candles for me, and seemed apologetic that they didn't have better news.

As I was walking home, I checked my phone. 4 missed calls! All from Greg! Huh. Had someone died? Was someone wrong about Star Trek on the internet? I listened to the only voicemail he'd left, which went like this:

"Tiffany. Tiffany. Tiffany. Guess what I'm doing. (affect goes flat; voice gets slower and louder) DON'T CHA WISH YOUR GIRLFRIEND WAS HOT LIKE ME. DON'T CHA WISH YOUR GIRLFRIEND WAS A FREAK LIKE ME. That's right. I'm combing my mustache. I'm combing my mustache with my mustache comb."

That's when I realized the psychics were talking about Greg, which was mostly a relief.

“I met greg erskine in real life and remain unconvinced that he is not some kind of complicated hoax”

I had lunch with Greg in Burlington once in the BT (Before Toaster) Era. We were talking about Internet people and how everybody who spends a lot of time on the Internet is there for a reason. We went through a list of people we knew from MeFi and reasons they might spend a lot of time on the Internet. And then I said "But I don't know why YOU spend so much time on the Internet… Like, what's your thing? You're almost normal." And he looked at me with what I remember were those blank saucer Little Orphan Annie eyes that I remember from his cartoons but were probably just his regular eyes. And I looked back at him. And time froze solid for an instant. And I never did figure it out. I think maybe I've been hypnotized. But I don't find him irritating at all.
