Thank You for the Music August 11, 2016 6:02 AM   Subscribe

MeFiMusic Podcast 3 is ready, featuring some July By Women challenge songs! Check it out on Soundcloud.

For your re-listening delight, here's the tracklisting:

Don't Call It A Disease by The Great Big Mulp
Kicking Up The Dust by BlackPebble
Weekend of Arps by Ageispolis, CarrotAdventure and Appleseed
Take Me To Church (by The Hoziers) performed by Ocherdraco
God Does Not Play Dice by Valrus
Leviathan by Chococat featuring yours truly.

If you especially like any of them then please comment! MeFiMusicians feed on your comments, every time one of you says "There's no good new music anywhere" one of us loses our wings.

Big thanks to all the writers and performers of the above, particularly those who contributed to the July By Women challenge.

With the usual apologies for my microphone glitching out a bit, I had to just run with these takes because I hadn't had my dinner and things were getting tense.

Title Reference obviously

CarrotAdventure, by the way, you know you posted your eponymous track in the comments of the last Music Podcast thread, certain users who I know IRL have been singing that out loud periodically and it is now A Thing in my life.

You bastards are all lucky I have buckets and buckets full of wings.

What! Yeah, buckets of'em! But I noticed they're being slowly depleted over the years. I suspect cynics and music critics are stealing them.

What! Why? Well, I stocked up on them when I built my bomb shelter during the cold war. Lots of protein. (I also got some Brubeck LP's down there too.)

NOW I'll listen to the podcast THANKS GREENISH!!!

Really enjoyed Weekend Of Arps, except that it was too short (what weekend isn't?). Liked the live-ness of Take Me To Church and Leviathan was very hummable (that's meant to be an endorsement). Great stuff all round though and long may this podcast continue.

Ack! We're honored our song is in here! Thank you, greenish! The rest of these are wonderful, too! Oh, it's always great to listen to the songs of my fellow MeFites.
