I am exceptionally excited to note that with 6 more, I will have 12,345 favorites. Seems like as good as any reason to celebrate, things being as generally ugh as they are.

I passed 25K favourites a few months ago, and it felt like kind of a momentous occasion for me, but after inching toward it slowly, I all of a sudden rushed past it, so I didn't really get a chance to celebrate it.

So now I'm just going to mention it here in this thread, because I missed my change to start my own.

I produce these documents at work that are assigned numbers as they are requested, and I was delighted all out of proportion when I stamped one as number 12510, because that was the street address of my childhood home.

It is like looking at your odometer for cool numbers such as 123,456.7 miles or 12,221 or whatever floats your boat. Mine floats with way too many. My kids are always asking me why I am looking at the odometer.

I happened to notice mine was a similarly pleasing 60606 a short while ago and made my husband look at it. I don't know why palindromes are so satisfying, but they just are.

I happened to notice mine was a similarly pleasing 60606 a short while ago

60606 is the zip code I put into web forms when I need to pretend to be American for some minor purpose. It used to be 60503, because I had a friend who lived in Aurora, Illinois, but it gradually morphed to something more symmetrical.
