Literally! Not only is Turkey Day early, Hanukkah starts Dec. 2 - giving only 2 weeks if that's your holiday. Definitely hoping the mall can go up soon, it's always a highlight.

More than a few people here in the UK have finished their non-perishable Christmas shopping (supermarkets have had seasonal items out since early September), and the annual John Lewis Christmas advert - which marks the peak season for many - was shown on TV yesterday (igniting a twitter supermarket scuffle). Peter Andre has also finished his circuit/tour of turning on the Christmas lights in town centres, so we are into the final run-in now.
Seconding that the mall needs an update as we are already in the latter half of November and postage takes a while. I'm looking for a few top-up items of an individual non-mass produced nature and would extremely prefer to give my groats, farthings, sixpences and threepenny bits to MeFites rather than to A****n.
(less than fifty days till the Easter Eggs are in the shops, yay!)

Totally right that it should be up ASAP. So, it's up and running now. Shops will, as usual, be visible once 5 people have signed up.

I submitted something to the Mall just a few days ago, will I need to submit it again?
The German word for this is "jein". You'll have to submit it again, but you can choose to open and edit the last shop entry that you submitted rather than having to enter it all anew.

Done, thanks! By the way, the "Looks great! Use this again" button is almost unreadable on the "modern dark" theme.

I submitted my Etsy shop again this year! It's still early enough in the season that I'm taking orders for custom jewelry pieces, so I'm excited at the prospect of making something one-of-a-kind for a metafilter friend!!

A couple days ago, Red Bubble sent me a note that I'd gotten enough sales to get a payment after like five years of having it there, and I'd forgotten about it. So I added a handful of new shots and enabled a bunch of new product categories that all seem to make the images even weirder. Really feeling the détourning print-on-demand with alienated, ambiguous image. I just submitted it to the MeFi mall, and this is finally the spur in my ass to get my regular site up and functional for people to order the traditional darkroom prints that I focus on. There doesn't seem to be a way to add discounts from my side on Red Bubble though.

So there is nowhere to chat about this, but I want to tell someone that flipclips in the holiday store has literally blown my mind. I mean like I fundamentally understand that printing a frame per sheet or whatever would make a short video into a flip book, but my lizard brain is like sorcery!! Wow.

I'm not seeing it in the submissions for this year. Sorry for the trouble. Looks like the one for 2017 is still in the system, so you should be able to go to the page and resubmit that store or edit the text and submit.

I got a tardigrade tshirt from the Mall one year, but that shop doesn't seem to be there this go-round. I miss ya, whoever you are! (There are tardigrade tshirts elsewhere, but of course the MeFi Mall is my initial go-to.)
