Metafilter Scroll Tag has disappeared April 29, 2019 3:55 PM   Subscribe

The "Metafilter Scroll Tag" Greasemonkey script has stopped functioning. As in, the tag no longer appears, and the unread count isn't shown. Just me or is anyone else experiencing this?

I've cleared cookies, and set the options through the Greasemonkey menu to make sure *.metafilter.com/* is included for the script. I think it's due to the latest Firefox update, but I don't know how to further troubleshoot. It looks like the proper cookies are being created when going to each subsite, so the script is probably executing, but can't seem to find a way to see the content of the cookies in Firefox anymore to verify what it's doing.

Okay, on first blush installing that version seems to be working fine. Weird. I wonder what changed to break the one I was using. I guess I can diff them to find out, if I really care. Thanks!
