Wonderful meta comment riffing on Bradbury’s automated house? February 2, 2023 9:31 AM   Subscribe

It’s a wonderful take on Bradbury’s There Will Come Soft Rains, in a post about automating AskMe question posting. It’s so good and I cannot find it on google site search or on the site itself. Thank you!

My usual stumping for the marvelous Mefi Wiki. Ian A.T's comment shows up in the Comment Fables collection, but that article hasn't been updated in a few years, and some of the featured stories are decidedly from Ye Olde Unreconstructed Metafilter. Do folks have suggestions for contemporary additions?

...I don't but they could likely be culled from the front page sidebar. It's a great idea, incidentally, to update the collection.

Hahaha I’ve read it before but the bit about “trying to remember a story i read in 8th graed about a robot house” always slays me
