Reminder: I will be the only mod actively monitoring this thread so please be patient. I’ll reply to your feedback and questions at least twice a week. I’m looking forward to your feedback and questions!
Admin/Moderation
– You can read the latest updates about MeFi’s governance and future int Jessamyn’s latest threads here and here.
– None of the members who signed up to help with Tech improvements last year were available to fulfill the role we have open. I’m working with frimble to update the job description and will be posting it in Jobs next week.
Technical changes
– Removed several social media platforms from the “also on” section since they no longer exist
– Changed wording on closed account pages and elsewhere from “disabled” to “closed”
– Fixed bug with comments page not loading
– Several bug fixes for “My FanFare”
– Changed default HTTP links to HTTPS across all themes
– We’ll reduce the waiting time for new posts on the blue from 1 day to 12 hours, based on the feedback we have received in the current Meta Thread, I’ll confirm once this change goes live.
BIPOC Advisory Board
– The next BIPOC Board meeting will be taking place next week on October 24th.
– The August and September meeting notes are still pending approval and will be uploaded to the Board's page as soon as they are approved.

Loup - I think this may not be accurate. I’m not sure how you came to understand/decide this, but you may want to re-clarify this point with Thyme and refer again to the notes/recording for the most recent meeting re August minutes’ approval. (As far as I understand board approval for August’s minutes is still pending; the board deferred approval to this upcoming meeting.)

Yeah it was one of those weird issues which, because of the way the codebase works, was only showing up in certain places in certain themes, so frimble wasn't seeing it in their theme, or most of the more-visible themes, and it took a while to tease out.
