Speaking of old AskMes, I finally found the answer to mintcake!’s question about an old MTV comedy bit that’s been taunting me for 12 years. A bit of my landlord’s ear!

What show was this? The linked video gives an episode title, and that it's an mtv production, but doesn't say what the show is.

I was curious about that as well… so far as I can tell, it was either an episode of the 1/2 Hour Comedy Hour, or something very closely related to it
