Kilauea is back at it

I mean, it is, and it is gorgeous (if you're not at risk of being displaced by a lava flow), but...why is this a MeTa? Shouldn't this be in Metafilter itself?

Yes, I think the faq says you’re supposed to update closed MeFi posts in MeTa, but this post is still open annd also it’s on Best of Metafilter so it should still be getting traffic. Can a mod fix this please?
