Title bug February 13, 2003 2:11 PM Subscribe
Slight problem with the new titles. In Moz (1.2.1) When you center click the link while the title is up, it doesn't go away.
i get the same thing in 1.3a and in pheonix .5, i don't remeber this happening yesterday w/the same broswers, but my memory is like a bucket with a hole in it. maybe something slightly different in the code??

I don't know what "new titles" or "center click" mean, but are you talking about that weird light-blue box that just popped up when I tried to open a link on the metafilter index page? Whatever that is, I hope I never see it again...

Some of them are sticking for me in IE6/Win2K, even after refreshing the page..

This bug is mentioned a few times in the thread Matt requested bugs be reported.

Mars, it's the crazy new bandwagon everyone is jumping on. I hope it goes away too. It's just so unnecessary and annoying.

In archived threads (like this one from a year ago) the links script seems to be screwing something up - mouse over the links in the last comment - I get the following JavaScript error:

Error: 'link.href.length' is null or not an object
A quick look at the source shows that those links, and not the others that don't give the errors, have titles.
