Flag Threads to Follow May 10, 2000 6:11 AM Subscribe
I'd really like to have some way to flag threads taht I'd liek to follow. I'm finding that certain thread die off, but I think that it is just because the topics drop down the page and people don't bother to scroll down.
It would be difficult to develop a UI for this... maybe a link at the top of the page to toggle "view all/view flagged."
Just a thought.

Folo: Sometimes I wanna see everything, sometimes I only wanna see *new* stuff, sometimes I only wanna see threads *I've* posted to, and *usually*, that only includes ones I've been followed up on, but not always.
Did that clarify things? ;-)

then again I like the way people are forced to move on to new topics as the old ones fall off the front page.. do we really want metafilter to be a bbs?

I think old threads will still die, myself, but we'd have to see. BTW, Matt, http://metatalk.metafilter.com/user.cfm?user_ID=441
is *still* CF404ing.

I think when you click on an user's name in MetaTalk, it gives you a 404. I got a 404 for baylink & Calebos too.

I can visualize the SELECT statement on that one, roughly, and I know it's not especially obvious. Is it *possible*?
