Announcing the new search features

NewFeatureFilter: Ask MetaFilter search, and all user pages have Ask MetaFilter history, with Ask MeFi removed from MetaTalk history. This is the tip of the iceberg, several major features will be added this week.

great! but... when trying to access my MeTa threads, i get this error:
" Error Executing Database Query.
[Macromedia][SQLServer JDBC Driver][SQLServer]Invalid column name 'category_ID'."

And accessing my MeTa comments still shows my AskMe comments.

but still, great!

I just noticed my MeFi time zone preference does not translate over to MeTa and AskMeFi. Or has this more than likely been rehashed 4,245 times already?

The million dollar question is does the new AskMe.search work any better than the search on the other colours?

Which is to say, at all?

(I know, I know, stop buggin' the guy while he's on a pony-cloning roll! Still, though...)

AskMe RSS isn't updating, which I'm assuming is a by-product of the overhaul.
