World AIDS Day 2004 November 29, 2004 4:00 PM   Subscribe

Say Matt, are we doing anything for World AIDS Day again this year? It's Wednesday, as you know I'm sure. Just wondering.

Celebrating my bday and trying not to be mad that they chose it as the official AIDS day/Day without Art?

Won't we just have the whole day of AIDS and related links like last time?

I won't be doing up the site in a new template or anything like years past. It'll just be a regular day, though I would encourage people to post about AIDS/HIV.

As an aside, but still kind of on-topic, we've made a small banner at Viewropa that's linked to a script that anyone can put on their web page. Basically, the deal is that one in 157 people have the aids virus, and if you put this script on your page it will show the ad once for every 157 page views. I won't go into all the details here, but if anybody wants to use it, you can see what the ad looks like and get the script here.
