What's up with the MeFi Swap?

The deadline for the shipment was supposed to be Feb. 28, but swap lists haven't gone out yet and Dreama's not responding to emails. Anyone know her personally and able to check on what's up? I'm sure there are some people who'd be willing to give a hand if she needs it.

Last thing I heard was that she was looking at moving to L.A. Anyone else know more?

I emailed her on the 9th about a problem with my MeFiSwap forum ID and she responded back right away. I also mentioned the swapsets and she said those would be broken out within a day - but that was a few days ago.

I can verify that kenko did, indeed, have a "fucking awesome" mix. I've enjoyed listening to it quite a bit since November.

Just peeked at the moving to LA question- Dreama has a 10 person household, including homeschooled children and not including pets, AND she's setting up the MeFi swap? Talk about domestic goddess!

I received precisely 0 mixes from my group in the cmonkey swap, you know who you are.
I await the new Dreama powered MefiSwap with anticipation.

My new mix is reggaeton and salsa. It has proved very popular amongst the crew so far. I would gladly join the 'killer-mix' swap if this MefiSwap fails to occur.

Long and short of it, Dreama is in the throes of exhaustion, and working on it. Never fear, swapping is, um, near.

I just gotta flip a couple of switches and throw a couple of levers. This just requires that I'm actually awake which I very frequently am not. Shortly. Really. I promise.

Meanwhile, y'all can make your mixes, then you'll be ready to mail when the swapsets are published. (This is called planning ahead of your pathetic swap administrix.)

Ah. Thank god for that. I was getting worried that I hadn't had a MeFiSwap confirmation email, given that I've spent the past month trawling through my record collection to make The Best Compilation Ever. Good to know it's on track ...

It may come in a non-descript jewel case, but my mix will slap all of your 'killer-mix' butts after school at 3pm by the bike racks.
