I think I may have read about this here on Metafilter? I believe it had begun in either Seattle or NYC, and is a dance class, by and for women only. And I remember you had to abide by the rules to even join in on the class - and the rules were something like the following: no judgments allowed, no body shaming, no ability shaming, no clothing shaming, no dance shaming, etc. [more inside]

A few years ago, someone had posted a video on the blue of a woman's progress as she learned to dance, starting with clumsy steps and eventually showing an impressive routine (in front of a subway car, if memory serves). I've searched for this under every search item I could think of, but nothing turned up. Please hope me…?

"hampster dance" just got deleted. it did look (after 17 comments) as though it was about to spiral seriously out of control, but matt could have at least waited an hour or two.. ok, fine, i'll go read about the military coup in thailand.
