As #notjoaquin floods the Carolinas, in amounts the news is calling "historic," "thousand-year," and "life-threatening," we're watching the weather maps all night. Looks like half of each state is covered in rain already, and it keeps on moving further in. SC+NC mefites, are you okay? Staying safe? How bad is it where you are? [more inside]

After 4-7 inches of rain tonight and more falling, the front range of Colorado is experiencing flash flooding, particularly in burn areas. This thread is to check in and share information. [more inside]

Calgary and Southern Alberta is experiencing the worst flooding in decades with 75,000 people displaced and the downtown core evacuated. I'm hoping that MeFites can check in and say they are OK. [more inside]
