What's made you laugh recently?
It's been a pretty stressful week, and I can't be the only person who feels like they went ten rounds with a particularly exhausting Tower of Terror. So I'm looking for reasons to laugh, be it bitter black humor, all encompassing joyful bellows, groan-worthy puns, or simple funniness. [more inside]
Tell me your weirdest, most niche interest!
I see a lot of people who say they're intimidated by posting FPPs because they're pretty sure no one else would be interested in what they find cool. I'm curious now: what kinds of niche interests and hobbies do you guys have? Tell me your nerdiest, most obscure pet fascinations!
What works and doesn't work when creating FPPs?
Since WomensMarch, I've been making more FPPs off and on when something interesting crosses my path. So far, I'm generally pleased with how they've gone, but I've noticed some interesting variation. It's been making me curious, and I thought I'd ask more experienced posters: what kinds of advice do you have for new posters on the Blue? What kinds of things have you noticed that change how people respond to a post? How much effort do you put in when framing things?
