Any update on the Ticket Stub project?

The Ticket Stub Project still looks like an excellent idea. Apart from the personal stories who wouldn't enjoy, for instance, capsule reviews written by fellow MeFis of concerts, plays, sports events, etc? Is there any chance of it taking off soon? Would each "ticket stub" capsule stand on its own or would there be comments and queries allowed? Is anybody else intrigued by this project?

What in the name of all that is holy is the TicketStub Project?

I am glad you could all make it to this little meeting tonight. The topic of conversation:

What in the name of all that is holy is the TicketStub Project?

The floor is yours.

Matt's working on ticketstub

Yes, I'm working on it. Here's a mockup of the front page as it might appear, and I'm coding the guts of the site this week. Once things are up and ready for content, I'm sure the front page will change. It's a bit too sparse at the top, and I don't know if the mockup design lends itself well to revists, it looks too first-time-visitor to me.

But I'm working on it.

Are you accepting ticketstubs?

Just wanted to know whether you've started accepting submissions and as to what format should it be in. 'Cause I've got all my concert ticketstubs scanned.

"How should I format the ticketstub site?" asked Mathowie?

How should the site be arranged and navigated? Personally, I want to see ticket stub stories of all kinds, and not have it bound to just rock concert show reviews. But that begs the question, should the first page you see have a list of entries by last posted? by category? (thinking generally here, like movies, concerts, etc), or list by author?

Since it's all in a database, the list can be any or all of them, depending on what the user wants to see, but I'm still wondering what the default arrangement should be.

What do you think?
