Searching for post about Objectivist web comic

I'm having trouble googling up a web comic I'm sure I saw on MeFi in the last several years. I believe the setting was an space colony or space station that was run according to Objectivist philosophy. [more inside]

Webcomic with a "lead ballon" of a story going into deep crevasse

There was a webcomic linked to on the blue (I think - maybe a FPP in the past month or so) that featured two guys talking about story/comic writing. The gist was that the one guy was telling the comic author that his stories were too dark, and that they should "lift people up" or something. [more inside]

Looking for a webcomic

I've been unsuccessfully trying to search for a webcomic posted in the comments (maybe a couple/few years ago?) about a nerd 'Rip Van Winkle' illustrating the difference between the promise of 'nerds then' -- perhaps around 30 years back -- to the comparative letdown of 'nerds now'. Ring any bells? I thought it might have been SMBC, but looking through the archives, I'm pretty sure it's not. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks :)

Update: Speak With Monsters is back

I just noticed today that Lore Sjoberg's badgods.com is back up, and with it the official archives of Speak With Monsters, a.k.a. Monster Manual Comix, as lamented about a month and a half ago. Yaay!

Yes she does, but she's working on it

The painfully brilliant and beautiful blog/autobiography/comic strip I Do Not Have An Eating Disorder featured here previously stopped publication for a while (the reason is disclosed in the blog) but has now resumed. I cannot possibly recommend it highly enough. Here's a bookmark for the first page; a bookmark for the blog as it stood at the time of the FPP; and the most recent strip.
