Crash, I just want to follow/answer threads that are scrolling fast enough that at the end of the day they're off the green's front page.

Wouldn't this do it for you (in RSS aggregator of choice)?

Here's my pet pony, a pony I've requested a number of times: feeds! Feeds for users, feeds for threads, feeds for contacts, feeds for categories, and feeds for tags. Is that too much to ask for? ;)

I'm satisfied using Bloglines' "keep new" option

I'll be doing rss feeds for comment threads soon.

Another definition for 'subscribe' in terms of a thread is the option to get an email when someone posts to the thread.

I would personally really like this feature, as I've sometimes responded to AskMe threads with a request for clarification, and wanted an easy (read: lazy) way to be notified when someone else posts.

Your bandwidth bill might just double if the feed is updated every time someone posts a comment.

Or it might not if one publishes what looks like a static file and provides the proper "last changed" information.

That's the coolest thing I've heard all day. This could be a feature of "MeFi Pro."
