Boston meetup: October 2005 October 28, 2005 12:53 PM   Subscribe

Sudden Boston/Cambridge meetup: tonight! Seriously. I'm in town and I leave tomorrow morning. I have nothing to do tonight. Any takers?

Not here. But there's a pretty good band playing Ryles tonight, if you're looking for options. Scullers has Eddie Palmieri -- but personally, I wouldn't pay $24 for his band. Also, there's always Wally's.

Wife and I won't be able to make it, unfortunately - next time.

Ack! I was just in Cambridge this evening.

Not that it matters. I'm not very exciting.

There is, I should add, a possibility that I accosted you on the street and asked for directions to the Kendall Square Cinema. I asked at least two dozen people and none of them were familiar with Cambridge.

Heh, I was out at a Halloween party. Sorry, bingo. No takers this time, I guess.

Cambridge isn't Boston.

And like a man's anus when it encounters a horse's genitals, Wally's will be packed full on Saturday night.

Sorry. Can't get it out of my head.

Hey, it's cool. I stayed in my hotel and watched three consecutive episodes of Rome. It was like watching three consecutive bad movies from the 60s, only each was shorter and had more nudity.
