Bug in sidebar dates November 8, 2005 2:01 AM   Subscribe

It's a small bug but when you view the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 years ago links in the sidebar, you get and around the date in the .</cfoutput></cfoutput>

Damn - I used HTML entities and they got eaten after preview.

There are cfoutput tags around the date in the title.

I suppose the disappearing HTML entities are a bug too.

Also sometimes my disappears when there's a between the and the other .

Somehow, seeing the words "What the hell?... " at the bottom of the this page makes perfect sense this morning.

Not necessarily a bug, but I think it's a valid RFE. When I sanitize HTML, I like to just entity-quote tags that aren't allowed, so if someone posts <big><big><big>OMG</big></big></big>, it becomes &lt;big&gt;&lt;big&gt;.. you get the point.

Yeah I get you Plutor. I was just surprised to see the entities render correctly in the preview and get lost on the way to posthood.
