sgt.serenity and I (and who knows, maybe others) will be trekking through from Edinburgh, so if there are any other Edinburghers who wish to tag along - by all means, get in touch!

That's right , Marquis and i are setting out on foot today as part of a sponsored walk for charity , we hope to arrive in Harthill Service Station by about Teatime on Friday.
Its part of our work for the Jennifer Leigh Memorial Foundation , which helps People with FSWD (fake single woman disorder ).
We'll be out with our Metafilter T-shirts and Bagpipes , so if you see us , put some money in the bucket !

Looking forward to it!

Also, on the offchance that there are Scottish MetaFilterers who also do the Flickr and haven't seen the group: the BURPING (Big Unmasking Rendezvous of Pseudonymous IDs Native to Glasgow) is scheduled for the 18th. The meal is all booked up, I think, but there will be drinking afterwards in a Very Exciting Top Secret Location...
